Sure to be treasured for generations, this blue delft birth plate is a wonderful gift for the new parents!
The plates are imported from the Netherlands, and handpainted with all the details of baby's birth; date, time, location, name and weight. After adding the information, it is finish-sprayed with a semi-permanent lacquer. This finish is very durable, and will only come off with acetone. Normal household cleaning will not harm the finish.
The text is hand-painted onto the plate with blue paint, however the blue is slightly brighter than the delft blue colors themselves.
